Nick is a dynamic mix of brand enthusiast entrepreneur and media procurement expert.
Started his journey in brand marketing with Guinness in 2001, he transitioned into data-driven marketing roles, crafting compelling narratives with GlaxoSmithKline (Lucozade).
In 2009 he ventured into the world of media procurement, joining forces with Proxima Group. There he pioneered innovative effectiveness approaches for Universal Music and other global clients. Nick’s expertise continued to build as he led media transformation programs with HSBC, BP, Zwift, Diageo and Heathrow.
Passionate about organisational effectiveness and leadership, Nick studied an Executive MBA at Imperial College. This experience helped him explore deeper connections, leading to the creation of his health tech platform, Carrot.run. In 2023 the platform was nominated by Garmin as the most innovative solution. When Nick isn’t building new features he is most likely running…. currently on a 1,480 run day streak.
Since mid 2022, Nick has been an integral part of Booking.com’s global marketing procurement, spearheading procurement transformation & effectiveness projects. With his sights set on the horizon, Nick is diving deeper into the realm of AI, having started a Masters in ML/AI at Imperial College, where he is seeking to unlock its potential to revolutionise marketing procurement as we know it.
