MARK EGMON

VP, Business Development, Sales & Marketing Communications, TTC

An enthusiast about branding, marketing, and production, Mark has held several leadership positions in the content creation ecosystem. Mark began his career location managing and assistant directing on films, television programs, and commercials. Mark’s skill of seeing the larger creative vision while deftly navigating the details involved in bringing that vision to life made his ascent to the role of producer a logical step. As a producer, Mark worked for several well-respected commercial production companies and advertising agencies.

While executive producing in Chicago, Mark served a six-year term as President of the Midwest region of the Association of Independent Commercial Producers (AICP). AICP is a national association representing the business interests of US-based commercial production companies. During his leadership role at AICP and as an executive producer, he co-founded the Illinois Production Alliance (IPA), serving as that organisation’s first president. The IPA had an instrumental role in the creation and passing of Illinois’s film and commercial tax incentives which have since brought billions of dollars in production activity to Illinois.

While producing a video series heavily reliant on the acquisition of rights for the performances of high-profile talent, popular music, logos, artwork, and other elements, Mark worked closely with talent experts at The TEAM Companies (TTC) and his relationship with the company was formed. Mark began consulting with TTC to help uniquely position the company in the marketplace and joined the company full time in 2010 as its Vice President of Marketing & Communications. Mark’s role has expanded to include business development and sales operations. Clients rely heavily on Mark’s consultative guidance as part of TTC’s curated team of experts who focus on each client’s unique needs and challenges throughout the relationship.
